Once we have prepared a detailed quote for your Full Renovation / extension, bathroom / kitchen or laundry renovation we will organise a convenient time for your personal quote presentation.
All this is just part of the service for your renovation and is complimentary and obligation free.

It is now up to you to carefully consider and compare your renovation quotes. Advaland will beat any written quote by 10% (providing all scope of works is the same for the renovation)

The 5 Stages of the Building/Renovation Process

Before your Renovation/Extension

Before your renovation or extension one of our licensed builders/renovators will meet with you to assess and discuss your renovation ideas. Our builder/renovator will work with your ideas and offer their expert advice to best achieve your ideal renovation within your budget.

When considering your new renovation Melbourne an important factor to keep in mind is your budget. If budget is a major concern researching and preparing for your renovation will help you determine the ideal budget that allows for the qaulity you need for your new renovation  and the little extras you desire.

As with all our renovations a Master Builders contract will be prepared for you to protect you and your home.

Based on your building contract there are 5 main stages when renovating or building your home:

Stage1: Renovation/ Extension Base

Before the slab is ready to be poured for your extension or renovation, the building base is laid out, excavated, filled, and levelled. Some early stage plumbing and electrical work will also take place before the slab is poured.

Stage2: Renovation/ Extension Frame

When the timber or steel frame is erected creating the shell of your new extension or renovation.

Stage 3: Renovation/ Extension Lock up

When the lock up stage is complete your renovation or extension is secure and waterproofed. Starting from top to bottom trades will come in and complete jobs such as roof plumbing, roof tiling, electrical and plumbing rough ins, heating and cooling, brick laying, windows and door installations (even if they are not the permanent windows and doors). This completes the lock up stage of your renovation, extension or new build.

Stage 4: Renovation/ Extension Fixing
This is the pre- paint stage when the insulation is installed, architraves, cornices, skirting and plastering is completed, and doors to rooms and cabinets are installed. Choosing cost effective materials and fittings can be a great way to stick to a budget without compromising the quality of your renovation or extension.
All buildings works are completed in preparation for the last stage of your renovation/build.
